Solid Wood

A kitchen worktop of solid wood creates a cosy atmosphere in your kitchen. Wood has a warm appearance and is available in many different types and shades. Moreover, wood can be easily combined with any other material. The worktop consists of rod-glued wood joint with a waterproof adhesive.

Solid Wood worktop

The wooden kitchen worktops are made of 30 or 40 mm solid wood and finished with oil. Signs of wear and tear can therefore be easily removed by lightly sanding the worktop and oiling it. Various edge finishes are possible, such as a robust 60 mm square edge or a classic round edge.

Easy to maintain

This worktop requires more maintenance and is also more expensive than, for example, laminate worktops. But its warm appearance makes up for the extra care, and its timeless luxury is worth the investment. For everyday cleaning,  wipe down the worktop with a damp cloth or soapy water. Dry it directly with a cloth. Old stains and areas affected by wear and tear can be lightly sanded with sandpaper and oiled. To prevent a wooden worktop from drying out, it should be oiled six to twelve times a year, depending on how heavily it is used.
